What are CondoReports?

CondoReports are unbiased, detailed, and easy to understand reports on condominium buildings and markets. Reports provide significant sales and listing activity and ownership information on hundreds of condominium buildings and markets - and we're just getting started!


What is different about CondoReports?

There are plenty of places to get free information about condominium buildings and markets - but none of them compare to CondoReports.com.

Simply put, we tell the whole story. Stats, trends, owners, sales, listings, pictures - it's all in our CondoReports. We provide more detailed, complete, and unbiased information about condo markets and buildings than anyone else. Through our CondoReports and proprietary CondoLytics™ and HousingLytics™, we zero in on a building or market and tell you the whole story of what's happening. And we do it in easy to understand and extremely valuable reports.


Why is the data important?

If you're considering buying, selling or lending on a condominium, you're making a major financial decision - potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars. Reviewing reports can both a)save you from making a bad decision and paying a much bigger price later on and b)help you identify excellent opportunities that will help make you money.


So how do I access CondoReports?

It's easy - it's all right here on the website, for free (for now...). Simply search for the building or market you are interested in anywhere you see a "Search" button or a "View Buildings and Markets" button. Select the building or Market from the search results list and then go to the various tabs for the corresponding information.


But you don't provide price estimates for condos - why?

At CondoReports.com, we're not in the game of predicting values. Our main goal is to provide the best research and statistics of what's really happening within condo buildings and markets. We think the best way to assist you, our client, is to give you the most detailed data presented in the most useful format and let you decide on value instead of using an algorithm (at least any algorithm that we've seen).


Where do you get your information from?

We compile our information from a variety of sources. While we do provide disclaimers that identify some of our data sources, there are some sources that we'd rather keep to ourselves.


How often are your reports updated?

They are updated daily. There is a slight lag in the recording of sales, but it shouldn't be more than a week or two.


Do your reports include townhomes, co-ops and condo-hotels?

Yes, our reports include townhomes, co-ops, condominiums and condo-hotel units.


What markets do you cover?

Right now we only cover Miami-Dade and Broward Counties - although we're expanding to additional markets very soon. If you have any requests on where you want us to go, click here to tell us.


You're in my market, but you don't have my building - why?

Probably for one of two reasons - size or age. While our eventual goal is to have reports on all condominium buildings, we are starting with the larger buildings for our building reports and gradually expanding our scope. As for age, if the building just delivered there is a time lag for us to be able to cover that building. Typically, between 2 - 3 quarters. Keep checking back as we're adding more buildings all the time!


If you aren't tracking a building, does that mean the units in that building aren't included in Market Reports?

Yes.


OK, so can I list my unit with CondoReports.com?

I own a unit and want to know how you got my information.  Isn't that an invasion of my privacy?

Real estate ownership is a matter of public record. We aren't doing any investigative research to determine who anyone is and we're not targeting anyone for any purpose - we're simply providing valuable information on real estate markets. Property ownership records are public and public records are public for a reason.
